I'm Amy Matheson, OCT

Hi! I’m Amy Matheson. I’ve worked as a teacher in the Simcoe County District School Board since 2014, and over the last three years, I’ve transformed my teaching style as I’ve experimented to develop an inquiry-based program that incorporates outdoor, experiential, and play-based learning with a focus on character development and the development of 21st century skills. I intend for this blog to become a collection of my teaching and learning memories as I continue on this journey, and I hope that the stories and photos I share might inspire other educators to embrace outdoor/experiential/inquiry-based learning.
